LEICESTER, England (AP) -- Joseph Ledley's second-half goal was enough to give Crystal Palace a 1-0 win over last-place Leicester in the Premier League on Saturday.
Ledley headed in a corner in the 55th minute for his second goal of the season to give Palace its third win in four league games since Alan Pardew took over as manager last month.
David Nugent had come close to scoring for Leicester earlier but his effort hit the crossbar.
Palace has established itself firmly in mid-table since Pardew took over and is now six points above the relegation zone. Leicester is last on 17 points, three points from safety.
