HELSINKI (AP) -- A Norwegian doctor, infected with the Ebola virus while working in Sierra Leone, has arrived in Norway where she is being treated at a hospital in the capital.
Officials gave no details about her condition, but said she was in an isolation ward at Oslo University Hospital.
Anne-Cecilie Kaltenborn, general secretary in Norway of Doctors Without Borders, said the evacuation was successful and had taken less than 48 hours from the time she was discovered with the virus on Sunday.
Kaltenborn said the organization, which has "several" other people working in Sierra Leone, was still investigating how the field worker contracted the virus.
Kaltenborn told reporters at the Oslo hospital that the patient's family was in the city, but didn't identify her or give other details.
