MEXICO CITY (AP) -- Ignacio Gonzalez headed in from a corner in the second period of extra time as Leon beat Pachuca 2-0 to win back-to-back titles in Mexico's first division Clausura tournament.

Argentine Mauro Boselli scored Leon's first goal with a header in the 66th minute, leveling the aggregate score and taking the game to extra time after Thursday's first leg finished 3-2 to Pachuca.

Leon also won last year's Apertura tournament and now has seven titles, four less than Chivas and America at the top of the all-time list.

Gonzalez pulled away from his marker to glance in the winning goal.

"It is madness, (I'm) very happy," Gonzalez said. "We were committed to each other, our fans and our families."

The match seemed like it would end up going to penalties during extra time, with both teams tired taking few risks.

The first half of the game was even, with Boselli having a chance in the 1st and Pachuca's Dieter Villa going close with a shot that went just wide from the edge of the penalty area in the 23rd.

Leon had better control after halftime and made its possession count with Boselli's goal, which came from a left wing cross from Edwin Hernandez.

Elias Hernandez should've put Leon ahead earlier, but he put a header wide from three meters out in the 59th.

Villalpando went closest in extra time for Pachuca, sending a shot from outside the penalty area just over the bar.

In Thursday's first leg, Carlos Pena opened the scoring for Leon with a header in the 34th, before Enner Valencia netted in the 42nd and 61st to put Pachuca into the lead.

Hirving Lozano got Pachuca's third, before an own goal by Miguel Herrera in the 77th made the score 3-2 in a game that was played end to end and in which both teams had numerous chances.
