PARIS (AP) -- Titleholder Paris Saint-Germain broke the record for most victories in a French league with a 4-0 win over Montpellier while Lille secured the last Champions League berth by finishing third with a 4-1 defeat of Lorient on Saturday.

Lyon edged Nice 1-0 with a goal from Bakary Kone to grab the last Europa League spot.

In a match between the only teams still under the threat of relegation, Evian secured safety by defeating Sochaux 3-0.

Sochaux, Valenciennes and Ajaccio are relegated while Metz, Lens and Caen gain promotion.

Also, it was: Saint-Etienne 3, Ajaccio 1; Marseille 1, Guingamp 0; Monaco 1, Bordeaux 1; Reims 1, Rennes 3; Bastia 0, Nantes 0; and Toulouse 3, Valenciennes 1.
