Dynamite blast wounds 3 at northwestern Pakistani city hospital, police say

Dynamite exploded in the parking lot of a state-run hospital in the northwestern Pakistan city of Peshawar on Thursday, injuring three people, police said.
The explosion occurred in a bed of garden plants near the parking lot at the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar, city police officer Khan Raziq said.
A hospital worker and two other men, who were visitors, were injured by flying debris after the explosion, Raziq said.
There was no immediate information on how seriously they were hurt.
The blast shattered widows at the hospital's cardiology ward near the parking area and damaged several vehicles, including some ambulances, Raziq said.
"Police and bomb disposal officials are at the scene to determine how the explosives came to be there," he said.
Peshawar is located near the border with Afghanistan. Last month, a car bomb near a police station car parking damaged dozens of cars but no one was hurt, police said.
