Indian acting legend Amitabh Bachchan says no celebrations planned for 64th birthday

India's movie icon Amitabh Bachchan isn't thinking of a big splash on his 64th birthday next week, a news report said Thursday.
Bachchan is India's biggest movie star, but he says at heart he's just a normal guy who wants to spend time with his family.
Bollywood stars often throw lavish parties, and Bachchan's family celebrated his 50th and 60th birthdays at posh hotels.
"I've always been a very normal sort of a guy," Bachchan told Mumbai-based DNA newspaper. "I will be with my family, there are no other plans."
Bachchan's movies draw huge crowds and his fans mass outside his bungalow in Juhu in suburban Mumbai to catch a glimpse of the actor, affectionately called the "Big B."
He has starred in more than 150 movies in a career spanning more than three decades.
Bachchan said he enjoyed birthday parties when he was a child. "Those were very sweet and normal," he said. "Pals from school would be there, there would games and chocolate cake. Nothing unusual."
