Automaker Volkswagen AG said Wednesday it has taken a 15 percent stake in truckmaker MAN AG but does not plan a full takeover.
Instead, the company said it would use its stake to support "the industrial logic" of synergies between MAN and Scania of Sweden, in which Volkswagen already owned a stake.
