Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF) appeals for supports to help those disadvantages in Taiwan suck like children of new immigrants.
Hong is a thirteen-year-old kid and he had spent his spare time to do a part time job in a socks factory since he studied for fourth grade. Hong says his father is ill, thus, he can’t go out for a work. His mother, Vietnamese-born new immigrant is the only one person who raises his family. Hong says he hopes to make money as much as he can to help ease his mother’s pressure.
In addition, he is the one of children who receives the assistance of TFCF. However, TFCF hopes that it could attract more and more people to concern these issues in our society.
