MIRPUR, Bangladesh (AP) -- Tamim Iqbal and Mominul Haque smashed half-centuries to help Bangladesh cruise to 173-2 and take an 18-run lead over New Zeland at tea on the fourth day of the second cricket test on Thursday.
Tamim scored 60 and Mominul made 74 to remain unbeaten at the interval as the pair contributed 118 runs in the third wicket stand.
In the second session, the hosts added 86 runs after resuming on 87-2 after lunch.
Earlier, New Zealand was dismissed for 437 runs with a 155-run lead over Bangladesh.
Neil Wagner returned 2-40.
For Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan returned 5-103 and Razzak took 2-96.
