HAGATNA, Guam (AP) -- Authorities are investigating allegations that Guam prison guards used stun guns to abuse inmates.
Pacific Daily News (http://ow.ly/q6D4B ) reports two Department of Corrections officers have been suspected for 20 days. The department, Guam police and the FBI are investigating.
Jeff Limo, the department's special assistant to the director, says a parent of an inmate reported an alleged Taser assault to police.
Limo says four inmates were treated by a prison doctor for injuries believed to be from Tasers.
He says officers aren't trained to use stun guns and aren't allowed to carry them.
