LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Spanish-language radio host Eddie "Piolin" Sotelo is getting a new show on Sirius XM, three weeks after Univision canceled his long-running show amid sexual harassment allegations.
The Los Angeles Times reports Sotelo will launch an entertainment channel on the satellite radio service called "Piolin Radio."
He'll anchor the channel with a four-hour morning program broadcast from Los Angeles.
Piolin, whose nickname means "Tweety Bird," says in a statement that he "can't wait to fly free" and to be available coast to coast.
After a decade on the air, Univision abruptly canceled Sotelo's radio show last month after a Univision employee alleged that Sotelo had sexually harassed him. Sotelo has denied the allegation.
