Judo federation to investigate harassment claims

Japan's judo federation says it will investigate an alleged case of sexual harassment by one of its directors against a female judoka.
The federation declined to identify the director, claiming the problem was "sensitive," Kyodo news agency reported on Friday.
Former judoka Noriko Mizoguchi revealed the incident on Thursday at a symposium aimed at eradicating abuse in sports.
Mizoguchi said the judoka, who is in her 30s, claimed the director, in his 70s, forcibly hugged her and tried to kiss her in a Tokyo subway elevator in 2011.
The incident is the latest crises for judo in Japan. In January, 15 female judokas accused former national coaches of harassment and physical violence during training before the London Olympics.
