Kashiwa beats Jeonbuk to reach quarterfinals

Jorge Wagner scored one goal and set up another as Kashiwa Reysol beat South Korean side Jeonbuk Motors 3-2 on Wednesday to advance to the quarterfinals of the Asian Champions League.
The former J-League champions won 5-2 on aggregate to earn a spot in the quarterfinal draw, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur on June 20.
Jeonbuk went ahead in the 22nd minute on an own-goal by Tatsuya Masushima, but Hirofumi Watanabe scored from Wagner's cross in the 43rd to restore Kashiwa's overall advantage.
Wagner widened the lead six minutes after the break, and Masato Kudo made it 3-1 before Kevin Oris pulled one back for the visitors in the 87th.
