EU flag to fly over Czech presidential seat

The new Czech president is showing a more pro-EU stance than his skeptical predecessor, saying he will fly the bloc's flag over Prague Castle.
Sticking to his pre-election promise, Milos Zeman says the EU flag will fly alongside the Czech national flag at the castle.
Zeman said Thursday in an address to Parliament's upper house that the continuing integration process in the EU "is in the Czech national interest."
Vaclav Klaus, a vocal euro-skeptic, refused to fly the EU flag over his official seat in Prague even during the Czech rotating presidency of the 27-nation bloc in 2009, saying the country is not an EU province.
Zeman had already announced he would sign the new EU bailout fund, something Klaus refused to do despite parliament's approval.
