Magnitude 4.3 earthquake jolts eastern Taiwan

Taipei, March 20 (CNA) An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck eastern Taiwan at 3:22 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Central Weather Bureau. The earthquake's epicenter was located at sea 33 km south of Yilan County Hall at a depth of 6.6 km, the bureau said. The strongest tremor, with an intensity of 5, was felt in Yilan's Nanao township.
