Another arrest in huge Curacao gold heist

Police in Curacao have made another arrest in the theft of gold bars worth $11.5 million on the southern Caribbean island.
A spokesman for the prosecutor's office says the 51-year-old suspect is from Curacao. His name was not released. Spokesman Norman Serphos says police searched two homes Tuesday and seized evidence in the case.
There are now seven people detained as suspects. A judge last week ruled there was enough evidence to continue holding them in custody for at least 60 days more as the investigation continues.
Masked men disguised as police made off with 70 gold bars from a fishing boat transporting the gold in November. Serphos says some of the gold has been recovered. The source and destination of the gold haven't been disclosed.
