All Black Guildford faces misconduct probe

All Blacks winger Zac Guildford is the subject of a misconduct investigation by the New Zealand Rugby Union which could derail his international and Super rugby careers.
Guildford has voluntarily stood down from his Super 15 team, the Canterbury Crusaders, after approaching management and admitting he was involved in an incident during a house party last weekend.
The nature of the incident has not been revealed but New Zealand Rugby Union chief executive Steve Tew said a misconduct process was underway.
The 23-year-old Guildford has had a highly-publicized battle with alcohol. In 2011 he was suspended for four weeks after assaulting two bar patrons during a drunken episode in the Cook Islands capital, Raratonga.
