Radamel Falcao scored again as Atletico Madrid beat last-place Osasuna 3-1 on Sunday for an eighth straight win to keep pace with Barcelona at the top of the Spanish league.
Atletico has won 11 straight matches in all competitions _ including in the Europa League _ and extended its club-record unbeaten run to 22 games dating back to April.
Defender Miranda opened the scoring at Vicente Calderon stadium with a header in the 31st minute. Raul Garcia doubled Atletico's lead four minutes later.
Roland Lamah pulled one back for Osasuna two minutes before halftime, but Falcao scored his 10th league goal of the season in the 73rd to seal the victory.
Later Sunday, Real Madrid _ already 11 points behind Barcelona and Atletico _ faces a tough test at Mallorca.
