China, Japan, SKorea to bid for 2019 swim worlds

The international governing body of swimming says China, Japan and South Korea are the candidates to host the 2019 World Championships.
FINA says the three countries have not confirmed which cities could stage the event. China hosted the 2011 worlds in Shanghai.
FINA says the 2021 worlds hosting rights could also be awarded in the same bidding process.
Formal bids must be submitted by April, and the governing body's decision-making bureau will choose the 2019 host in July at the worlds hosted by Barcelona.
The event also includes world championships in diving, open water swimming, synchronized swimming and water polo.
The 2015 worlds are scheduled for Kazan, Russia, while Guadalajara, Mexico, will stage the 2017 event.
