Higginbotham cited after Bledisloe Cup test

Wallabies flanker Scott Higginbotham will face a judicial hearing after being cited for kneeing and head-butting All Blacks captain Richie McCaw during Saturday's Bledidsloe Cup rugby test.
South African judicial officer Jannie Lubbe will conduct Higginbotham's hearing by conference call after the back-rower's citing on charges of punching and striking at Suncorp Stadium.
The charges relate to incidents in the 26th minute when Higginbotham appeared to knee and then head-butt McCaw. The match ended in an 18-18 draw, stopping New Zealand's streak of 16 consecutive test victories.
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen condemned the incident, saying it was the latest in a series of targeted attacks on McCaw which had gone unpunished by match officials.
