Rosicky to miss World Cup qualifier at Denmark

The Czech Republic will open its 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign at Denmark next week without injured captain Tomas Rosicky.
Rosicky sustained an Achilles tendon injury in the 2-1 win over Greece on June 12 at the European Championship and has not played a game for his Arsenal side since.
Rosicky's usual replacement, Daniel Kolar, and first-choice attacking midfielder Vaclav Pilar are also injured and not available for the Sept. 8 match at Copenhagen and a friendly against Finland in Teplice three days later.
After striker Milan Baros retired, coach Michal Bilek named Tuesday two 20-year-old forwards in his 21-man squad. Uncapped Matej Vydra, who scored two goals in his first three matches for Watford this season, and Vaclav Kadlec of Sparta Prague, who has one cap, were both included.
