Ashwin helps bowl out New Zealand for 159

India off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin grabbed a career-best 6-31 to help bowl out New Zealand for 159 at the stroke of lunch on Saturday's third day of the first test.
Ashwin, whose previous best was 6-47 against the West Indies in his debut test at New Delhi last year, took three wickets in the day's opening session as New Zealand failed to avoid the follow-on after India had scored 438 in its first innings.
Left-hander James Franklin remained not out on 43 off 142 balls with one four and one six, but was left helpless as he saw wickets fall regularly.
India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni decided to enforce the follow-on, due to time already lost and with more rain predicted.
