Britain arrests Basque armed group suspects

Spain's Interior Ministry says two members of the armed Basque group ETA on the run from authorities have been arrested in the British capital.
A statement said the two were detained in London early Friday by British police, who said the arrests were not linked to the Olympic Games.
The ministry said one detainee, Antonio Troitino, had served 24 years in jail in Spain for his role in more than 20 killings. Although released last year, police had tried to re-arrest him, but he had fled the country.
The ministry said the other detainee, Ignacio Lerin Sanchez, formed part of ETA's arms logistics team.
ETA is blamed for the killings of more than 825 people in a campaign for an independent Basque state. It announced a definitive cease-fire last year.
