JetBlue opens terminal at Puerto Rico airport

JetBlue Airways Corp. has opened a terminal at Puerto Rico's main airport as part of a $3 million investment.
Gov. Luis Fortuno said Thursday that the terminal will handle the 38 daily flights that JetBlue operates from the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport. He says the company will add a direct flight to Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., in August.
JetBlue flies directly from Puerto Rico to four Caribbean locations and nine U.S. cities, most in Florida.
The company also operates seven other flights at smaller airports in Aguadilla and Ponce.
Fortuno said the flights from the U.S. generate an estimated $77 million a year.
