Chinese retailers buys US$11.5 million consumer products

Taipei, June 28 (CNA) Three major China-based retailers were in Taipei for an one-on-one purchasing meeting Thursday, creating over US$11.5 million worth of businesses, according the Taiwan External Trade Development Council.
The three retailers, invited by the Bureau of Foreign Trade to procure in Taiwan, were Shanghai-based RT-Mart, Scitech Plaza of Beijing, and Wuhan-based Zhongnan Commercial Group. The orders made by the retailers include food products, drinks, beauty products and home appliances supplied by Taiwanese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the council said.
