Bangladesh High Court orders blasphemous site shut

A lawyer says Bangladesh's High Court has ordered five Facebook pages and a website blocked because their cartoons and other content are blasphemous and mock the Quran.
The lawyer told The Associated Press the panel of two judges found the Facebook pages and the website had lots of disparagement not only to Prophet Muhammad but also to Jesus Christ, Lord Buddha and Hindu gods.
Muhammad Nawshad Zamir is the barrister who petitioned the court. He said the court also asked authorities to investigate the content and find the people behind it. He refused to name the Bengali-language website in Wednesday's court's order or disclose further details.
He said authorities were asked to report developments to the court within three weeks.
