Lomu leaves hospital after kidney treatment

Retired All Blacks rugby star Jonah Lomu has been released from an Auckland hospital after a week of treatment for a kidney ailment.
A spokeswoman for Auckland City Hospital said Lomu's condition was now stable. The 36-year-old former winger is battling kidney failure and was admitted last week for dialysis treatment.
Lomu revealed last month that the kidney he received in a 2004 transplant operation has now failed and he will require a second transplant when a donor can be found. He will have to undergo dialysis treatments for seven hours a day, three days a week until a second transplant is performed.
Lomu told the New Zealand Women's Weekly in a recent interview that he had lost 30kg (66 pounds) since last September as a result of his current illness.
