Greece poll: Fragmented parliament if early vote

A new poll published in Greece says an early election would result in a fragmented parliament, with nine parties represented and no overall majority for the conservative front-runner.
The poll, published in Greece's Kathimerini newspaper, shows the two members of the ruling coalition getting just 39 percent between them. This is unchanged from a month ago, with front-runner New Democracy down 3 percent to 28 percent, and the socialists up 3 points, to 11 percent.
The poll also shows three leftist parties garnering 39 percent, down from 42.5 percent a month ago. Democratic Left, the most moderate of the three, stands at 16 percent, down 2 percent.
The poll was conducted between Feb. 23-29, with a sample of 1,006 and a mean error of plus or minus 3.2 percent.
