PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (AP) _ The prime minister of Trinidad faced a no-confidence vote Friday organized by the island's opposition leader.

PUERTO RICO: Woman accused of hiring hitman to kill father
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) _ U.S. authorities have arrested a Puerto Rican woman accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill her father.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says 28-year-old Xenya Taimi Rivera allegedly offered the hit man $3,000 to kill Edwin Rivera Sanchez. Officials said Rivera asked the hit man to make the death look like a fatal robbery and planned to use her father's Social Security and other checks to pay for the alleged killing.
Officials accuse her of conspiring with her mother, Julia Elena Rivera.
Authorities said FBI agents arrested both women before Rivera was killed.
A source close to the investigation who was not authorized to publicly release the information said Friday that the man allegedly abused his wife.

GUYANA: 4 sailors vanish; barge found adrift
GEORGETOWN, Guyana (AP) _ Authorities are looking for four sailors from the South American country of Guyana who vanished after their abandoned barge was found in waters near Venezuela.
Guyana Transport Minister Robeson Benn said Friday that officials are investigating whether the barge loaded with heavy-duty mining equipment collided with a tugboat towing it to Guyana's northwest gold mining region.
Five other sailors who were aboard the tugboat and barge swam ashore late Thursday and reported the incident to nearby residents.
Benn said the barge was found drifting in the Atlantic Ocean with the equipment intact.
