Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti is using a GPS tracking system in training to improve the fitness of his players and ensure they avoid overexertion.
The former Chelsea manager, who takes charge of his first official match in the French Cup on Sunday, believes GPS is an essential tool to improve efficiency.
He said Saturday that "it's important to have data during a training session, because (otherwise) we can't control the load of the training session."
Ancelotti is also keen to improve the dietary habits of his squad by encouraging players to eat breakfast and lunch at training camps rather than at home, saying "it's very important to eat properly."
