MSC cruise ship hits reef just off Bahamas coast

An MSC Cruises ship has run into a reef as it tried to approach a port in the Bahamas during a highly anticipated arrival.
The MSC Poesia was being pulled out of the reef by two tugboats on Saturday. It was expected to dock at Port Lucaya in Grand Bahama Island.
No further details were immediately available. Neither government officials nor an MSC spokeswoman immediately returned calls for comment.
The MSC ship was expected to depart Port Lucaya Saturday night. It is unclear if the schedule has changed.
The ship has a capacity of more than 3,000 passengers.
