The travel agent Koryo Tours said in an e- mail today, North Korea will reopen for tourists from January 10.

Basically, foreign tourists visit North Korea need to be accompanied with official tour guide and supervisors. In addition, they are not allowed to take photos, distribute any items to local people. Generally, North Korea only opens the tourism who owns the nationalities like China and Russia. Besides, Japanese passport owner need to apply to “Tourist Card” when they try to enter North Korea and that moreover, the Custom won’t stamp on their passports; they will keep their passport instead. And they will return passport to them after they are departure. Furthermore, the people own US and Israel passports are only allowed to visit North Korea in peak season.
