Squash pitches innovation in latest Olympic bid

Squash officials believe innovations to make the sport more TV-friendly and commercially successful can help squash secure a spot in the 2020 Olympics.
After failed attempts to get onto the program for the 2012 and 2016 Games, squash is one of eight sports competing for inclusion in 2020.
N. Ramachandran, president of the World Squash Federation, says the IOC has "told us what the problems were and we have addressed them" with a range of innovations introduced over the past two years.
As well as the introduction of a "three-ref system" and video replays, squash officials are experimenting with glass floors to make the sport more viewer-friendly and with Hawk-Eye, the ball-tracking technology used in tennis.
Ramachandran says "we have changed the game completely."
