Blackberry cooperating with Porsche Design to launch Blackberry P’9981

RIM, producers of Blackberry mobile devices, is cooperating with Porsche Design to develop the luxury item Blackberry P’9981 priced at US$2,000. In addition to the newest operating system Blackberry 7, the P’9981 offers NFC and enables effortless ‘tap to share’ exchanges of multimedia content and contact info between friends and BBM contacts. The Blackberry P’9981 also boasts superior features like an enhanced 1.2 GHz processor and 8GB of onboard memory to power a responsive and nimble browsing experience, 720p HD video recording and dual band Wi-Fi.
The P’9981 makes the user feel pampered with its exclusive full touch screen and a wide BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard for easier messaging and enhanced access to technology. RIM has announced that the P’9981 will be available in Porsche Design stores soon.
