The U.S. National Hurricane Center says Tropical Storm Nate is meandering in the Bay of Campeche off Mexico's coast.
Nate has maximum sustained winds near 45 mph (75 kph) Thursday, with some strengthening forecast. A tropical storm warning is in effect for Mexico from Chilitepec to Celestun.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Maria is swirling across the Atlantic with winds near 50 mph (85 kph). A tropical storm watch is in effect for the Leeward Islands of Antigua, Barbuda, Montserrat, Nevis and St. Kitts.
Also, Hurricane Katia is blowing northward as a Category 1 storm in the Atlantic between the U.S. and Bermuda. Its winds are near 90 mph (150 kph). Katia isn't expected to hit land, but it's pushing large swells to the U.S. East Coast and Bermuda.
