Denmark polls show left-wing opposition in lead

Polls released a week before Denmark's election show the left-wing opposition with a lead over Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen's center-right coalition.
A Voxmeter poll gave the Social Democratic-led bloc 94 of Parliament's 179 seats, compared with 81 seats for the government side.
Another survey, by Ramboell, shows the opposition bloc ahead by nine seats, while pollster Megafon put the gap at seven seats.
Thursday's polls didn't count the four seats allocated to the semiautonomous territories of Greenland and the Faeroe Islands.
All surveys were conducted this week, included about 1,000 interviews, and had error margins of 2.5-3.0 percentage points.
A left-wing win in the Sept. 15 election would end 10 years of center-right rule.
