Ryan Harris led with three wickets as Australian seamers ran through Sri Lanka's lineup to dismiss them for a meager 174 in their first innings of the second test on the opening day Thursday.
Anjelo Mathews top scored for Sri Lanka with 58 runs including three sixes and six boundaries during a 134-ball innings.
Seamers Trent Copeland, Mitchell Johnson and spinner Nathen Lyon picked up two wickets each.
