Woman dies in NZ after drugs bag bursts in body

A Colombian woman has died in a New Zealand hospital after a bag of what police believe to be cocaine burst in her body.
Radio New Zealand reports that 37-year-old Sorlinda Vega arrived with family members on a flight from Buenos Aires on Tuesday, and then was to taken to the Auckland Hospital on Wednesday morning. She died soon after.
An autopsy revealed the woman was carrying at least 26 packages of a little less than 1 ounce each.
Customs agents told Radio New Zealand the woman was visiting the country with genuine documentation. If found to be cocaine, the drugs would have a street value of nearly $150,000.
