Tropical Storm Nate could become a hurricane

The U.S. National Hurricane Center says Tropical Storm Nate is moving little off Mexico's coast and could become a hurricane by Friday.
Early Thursday, Nate has maximum sustained winds near 45 mph (75 kph) with some strengthening forecast. A tropical storm warning is in effect for Mexico from Chilitepec to Celestun.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Maria is swirling across the Atlantic with winds near 50 mph (85 kph). A tropical storm watch is in effect for the Leeward Islands of Antigua, Barbuda, Montserrat, Nevis and St. Kitts.
Also, Hurricane Katia continues to blow as a Category 1 hurricane in the Atlantic with winds near 90 mph (150 kph). Katia isn't expected to hit land, but it's pushing large swells to the U.S. East Coast and Bermuda.
