France beats Turkey 68-64 at Europeans

Tony Parker made seven of eight free throws in the final 18 seconds to lift France to a 68-64 victory over Turkey on Wednesday in the second-round group stage at the European basketball championship.
France led by 15 early in the fourth quarter but was nearly caught by Turkey after its offense sputtered toward the end, with Parker missing three straight 3-point attempts.
The San Antonio Spurs guard finished with 20 points to lead all scorers.
Hidayet Turkoglu led four Turkish scorers in double figures with 13 points.
France is unbeaten at the tournament.
