Bradley a candidate to coach Mexican club Santos

Former U.S. national team coach Bob Bradley is a candidate to take over at Santos Laguna in Mexico, according to the club.
The northern Mexican club fired Argentine coach Diego Cocca over the weekend.
Bradley led the United States to the last 16 at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, but was dismissed in July after the United States was defeated 4-2 by Mexico in the final of the Gold Cup, the regional championship for North and Central America and the Caribbean.
"Bob Bradley is one of the candidates to be the coach," the club said in a statement, adding that talks had already been held with Bradley and that other candidates would be interviewed.
Santos Laguna, based in Torreon, was in the news last month when gunmen opened fire outside the club's stadium, which forced the match to be suspended. No one was reported injured.
Torreon has recently been the scene of fighting between the powerful Sinaloa and Zetas drug cartels.
Bradley was replaced by former Germany coach Jurgen Klinsmann.
