German court to rule on bailouts

The Constitutional Court is expected to rule Wednesday on legal challenges to Germany taking part in bailouts of indebted eurozone countries.
Analyst think the court will uphold Germany's contribution to bailouts of Greece, Portugal and Ireland _ but could add requirements that parliament be consulted when more money is loaned.
The court could also rule Wednesday against entering into joint responsibility for other countries' debts, a ruling that could complicate any resort to jointly issued eurobonds, widely proposed as one solution to the debt crisis.
The ruling is being watched by financial market participants.
