UK deputy prime minister Clegg hit with paint

A man has been arrested for throwing paint at two politicians, including Britain's deputy prime minister, police said Thursday.
The motive for the attack in Scotland was not immediately known, and the politicians were not hurt as they were splattered with blue paint.
The stunt occurred as Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Willie Rennie were walking into a private event for their Liberal Democrat party members in Glasgow, a Clegg spokesman said.
Clegg's face and jacket were splattered, but he attended the event after washing up.
"Nick's got three children under-10, he's not worried about a bit of paint," the spokesman added.
Police did not identify the 22-year-old man who was arrested or speculate on what his motive might have been.
