Brazil build airport for 2014 World Cup

Brazil's government has auctioned the rights to build and operate an airport in the nation's northeast.
That's the first privatization step for the country's ailing airports. It's an effort to make rapid improvements before an influx of visitors for the 2014 World Cup.
Brazil's Civil Aeronautics Agency says the Inframerica consortium paid $106 million to win the rights to build an airport just west of the city of Natal and operate it for 25 years.
Inframerica beat out three other bids. The government says the airport will be ready before Natal hosts 2014 World Cup matches.
Brazil's overburdened air system is a weak point in preparations for the Cup.
The government says work on four other airports will also be open to private investment.
