Westwood: I have patience to master Open course

Lee Westwood believes he has the patience to master a "mentally frustrating" Royal St. George's course and finally land a first major title.
When the British Open was last held at Sandwich, in 2003, Westwood teed off as the world's No. 266 and shot 9 over to miss the cut.
Things couldn't be more different eight years on. With the Englishman No. 2 in the rankings and among the favorites to lift the Claret Jug, a more mature Westwood is confident he can take everything the notoriously testing course throws at him this week.
Westwood says "at some point during the week, you're going to need patience _ it's going to be tested. But I've got plenty of that."
