News Int'l seeks info on Gordon Brown hacking

News International has appealed for information to help investigate claims its journalists hacked ex-Prime Minister Gordon Brown's personal information.
British media said Monday that Brown was one of thousands whose personal details _ including his bank account and his son's medical records _ were targeted by people working for News International titles including the Sun and the Sunday Times. None of the media cited sources.
The revelations are the latest in the phone-hacking scandal that brought down News International's News of the World tabloid.
News International spokeswoman Daisy Dunlop said the company acknowledges the allegations made Monday and that in order to investigate further the company asks "that all information concerning these allegations is provided to us."
