Austria orders ex-Croat PMs extradition

Austrian legal officials say the justice minister has formally ordered the extradition of ex-Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader to face corruption charges back home.
Officials say the extradition order arrived Monday to the Salzburg court handling the case. They say he could be returned to Croatia within the next two weeks.
Austrian police detained Sanader on Dec. 10 after Croatian authorities issued an international arrest warrant, and he has been jailed in Salzburg ever since.
Sanader _ who maintains he is innocent of charges of corruption while in office _ held the premiership for six years until resigning two years ago.
