5 killed in emergency landing on Siberian river

Russia's Investigative Committee says an airliner carrying 33 people crashed as it tried to make an emergency landing on a river in Siberia, killing five people.
A statement said 33 people were aboard the Antonov-24 turboprop when it landed on the Ob River some 2,500 kilometers (1,500 miles) northeast of Moscow on Monday morning.
The plane apparently was forced to make the landing because of a fire in one of its engines, the statement said. It said four other people were seriously injured.
The plane, belonging to the Angara airline, was flying from Tomsk to Surgut.
