Two Hungarian soldiers have been killed and four injured in Afghanistan when their armored vehicle overturned.
Hungary's Defense Ministry says the road accident occurred Tuesday about 15 kilometers (6 miles) from the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif in Baghlan Province.
In March, Hungary's government extended the mission of its troops in Afghanistan until at least Oct. 1.
About half of Hungary's 500 soldiers in Afghanistan are part of a provincial reconstruction team in Baghlan Province, supporting local authorities and civic groups with security and logistics since 2006.
The accident raises the total of Hungarian soldiers who have been killed in Afghanistan to five. A sixth died in Hungary from wounds sustained there in an attack on a military convoy.
