Silverstone has completed the 27 million-pound ($43.7 million) overhaul of its pits and paddock it promised to help secure its 17-year agreement to host Formula One's British Grand Prix.
Following last year's revamp of the circuit and other facilities, the British Racing Drivers' Club unveiled the upgraded Silverstone "Wing" on Tuesday.
The 390-meter (1,280-foot) long complex holds the new pits and paddock alongside media and conference suites, three halls and an auditorium.
Former F1 world champion Damon Hill is president of the BRDC, which owns Silverstone, and said the track was now a world-class venue for all motor sport.
Britain was in danger of losing its GP when Donnington was stripped of the race in 2009. Silverstone stepped in but needed to improve its aging facilities.
"It's very important for everyone we've managed to do this," Hill said. "We've had people putting up palaces around the world, so it's fantastic we've got this facility now.
"And it's kept Britain at the forefront of motor sport around the world."
Silverstone also hosts the British events on the MotoGP and World Superbike Championship.
"Silverstone is the best circuit I know by a mile," former world champion Nigel Mansell said. "It's the best in the world for me, bar none."
